HYDR professor Wim Thiery receives EGU Arne Richter award for Outstanding Early Career Scientists

Wim Thiery the head of the bclimate group in our HYDR department will receive the prestigious Arne Richter award for Outstanding Early Career Scientists in the European Geosciences Union meeting of 2023. This award was given to commemorate his outstanding scientific achievements during his still young academic career. 

This award is extra special for Wim as it has been awarded to him along with his life long friend Harry Zekollari (VUB alumnus). Congratulations Wim!
