She was hydrogeology head at the Departmental Government of Santa Cruz, where co-founded the Santa Cruz Metropolitan Groundwater Committee, CMAS.

Currently, she holds a position at the Bolivian Catholic University in Santa Cruz.

Her research focuses on the application of numerical models to support decision-making about land-use change in the Bolivian Amazon, addressing wildfires, climate change, integrated water management, capacity building and knowledge management.
