Luke GRANT

Luke Grant is a climate data analyst researching climate change attribution. This includes trend detection and attribution of climate change, such as exploring the biogeophysical effects of historical land cover change on warm temperatures, as well as climate change impact attribution for lake systems and extreme events. He attended the Interuniversity Programme in Water Resources Engineering (IUPWARE, hosted by HYDR @ VUB and KUL) and thereafter joined HYDR as a PhD researcher in 2019 under the supervision of Wim Thiery. Luke publicly defended his PhD thesis in October 2023.
