Kaoutar BADIOUI

Kaoutar joined HYDR in February 2018 as a PhD researcher under supervision of prof. Marijke Huysmans. She has obtained a Master's in geology and mining engineering, currently investigating to expand the use of the most recent technical solutions with an innovative and demonstration work based on modeling tools for integrated surface water management, using Remote sensed data and GIS based numerical model. This research is mainly focued on palm trees in Morocco. Morocco has limited water ressources and faces substantial pressure on its water management and protection.

Kaoutar's expertise is surface water management, Remote sensing, GIS and Geology that she proved in many diversified working experience in different countries. She holds currently a position of a staff member at Brunel University  London under a Research engineer role.
